Privacy Policy

This website, brandonbedford.com, is run by me, Brandon Bedford, an individual based in Seoul, South Korea. This page explains what personal information the site collects, why, and who helps me process it. The site collects very little, so this page is short.

What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, and message. I use these only to read and reply to your message.
• Newsletter signup: your email address, used to send you the Wealth Potion newsletter.
• Bot protection: when you use either form, Cloudflare Turnstile collects technical signals from your browser and device (such as your IP address, browser type, and how the page was loaded) to check that you're a person and not a bot.
• Server logs: like most websites, the hosting provider automatically records basic request data (such as IP address, browser, the page requested, and the time) to keep the site secure and running.

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies.

Services that process your information

• Vercel hosts the website (privacy policy).
• Resend delivers contact form messages to my inbox (privacy policy).
• beehiiv stores newsletter subscriptions and sends the newsletter (privacy policy).
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects the forms from spam and abuse. Your use of Turnstile is subject to the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

These providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States.

How long I keep it

• Contact messages stay in my email for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of our conversation, unless you ask me to delete them.
• Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
• Bot-protection data and server logs are kept according to Cloudflare's and Vercel's own retention policies.

What I don't do

I don't sell or rent your personal information, and I don't share it for advertising. I only share it with the services listed above, so they can do their jobs.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by sending a message through the contact page. Depending on where you live (for example, under South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or California law), you may have additional rights, and I'll respond to requests as those laws require.

Children

This site isn't intended for children under 14, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the “last updated” date at the top.
