Get recommended over your competitors, in Google and in AI answers.

I led competitive intelligence and product marketing at Klue, and built the Klue vs Crayon page that still ranks #1 on Google.

Tell me your biggest competitor. One page, back within five business days: what Google and AI answers say about you both, and what I'd change.

The page I originally built at Klue, still #1 on Google (Oct 2026).

The problem

Your buyers ask Google and ChatGPT “[your product] vs [competitor]” before they talk to sales.

If you haven't answered that question, someone else has. Usually your competitor. Sometimes a review site. AI answers repeat whatever is already published.

Your sales team feels it too. Deals stall on the same three objections, and nobody has written down the answers.

What you get

  • AEO audit

    Once per client

What Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini say when buyers compare you with competitors, and why. Where you win, where you lose, and what you can safely claim.

  • Comparison pages

    One competitor per page

The angle, the comparison table, the objection handling, the copy and the page structure, written so search and AI answers can cite it. Every claim is sourced and dated. Your team designs and publishes it.

  • Competitive monitoring

    Optional, monthly

I watch your competitors' pricing, launches, messaging and reviews, and what AI answers say about you. You get a short digest: what changed, what it means, and what to update.

How it works

  1. Short questionnaire

Your competitors, a few redacted win and loss reasons, and who approves the copy.

  2. One 30-minute call

After you sign, at a time that suits your timezone. That's the only call.

  3. First draft

Within three weeks. Two rounds of written feedback.

  4. Your team publishes

I hand over final copy, structure and page metadata.

Why me

  • I led competitive intelligence at Klue, a CI software company, in the years it became the category leader. Enterprises like Adobe, Salesforce, VMware, UiPath and Autodesk looked to us for CI best practices. I was the in-house expert: tracking Klue's own competitors, speaking on podcasts, and advising customers. Gartner has since named Klue a Leader in its first-ever Magic Quadrant for the category.
  • I built Klue's original comparison pages, including Klue vs Crayon, its head-to-head against the #2 player in the category. Klue has updated the page since, and it still ranks #1 on Google for “Klue vs Crayon” (as of October 2026).
  • Then I led product marketing at Klue, with competitive intelligence still at the core of the job.
  • Native English, working remotely. I work across time zones and write for the buyers you're trying to reach.

Questions

What is AEO?

Answer engine optimization: making sure Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini recommend you when buyers ask who to choose.

Will you also work for our competitor?

Not for any competitor named in your project, while we work together and for 12 months after.

What data do you need from us?

Very little. Redacted win and loss reasons, with account names removed, and your answers on one call. A mutual NDA is available.

What if a competitor is also our partner?

Then you get an integration page and internal sales notes instead. Never a public fight.

What's in the free teardown?

A one-page written analysis, by email, with no call: what Google and AI answers say when a buyer compares you with one competitor, and what I'd change. I take a limited number each month. If you want more, that's the paid project.

Do I need a sales call first?

No. Email me. The only call happens after you sign.

Tell me who you lose deals to.

I'll send a free teardown of how Google and AI answers compare you with them, and what I'd change.
